Honoring Gold Star Mothers and Families

Today, we pause to honor Gold Star mothers and families whose loved ones made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country.

A Gold Star family carries a sacrifice that most of us can never fully understand. Behind every fallen service member is a mother, a father, a spouse, children, siblings, and loved ones who continue forward with both pride and grief. Their strength, sacrifice, and remembrance deserve our deepest respect.

As we observe this day, we remember the brave men and women who gave their lives in defense of our nation. We also honor the families they left behind, especially the mothers whose love, courage, and resilience remain a powerful part of their legacy.

For many, this day is not just a moment on the calendar. It is personal. It is enduring. It is a reminder that freedom has a cost, and that cost has been borne by families across our country for generations.
